The wires of a several of items on television this week have crossed in my mind. This post is the result.
As Tom Brady prepares to lead the New England Patriots into the AFC title game this coming weekend, the Houston Astros noticed the facial resemblance between the star NFL quarterback and a young Craig Biggio. The long-time Astros second baseman was elected to Baseball’s Hall of Fame a week ago.
One of the commercials aired during the New England game, and other contests recently, is a new State Farm entry that features an Aaron Rogers look-alike from London, “Aaron Wroggers.”
A big story this past week has been the reported interest of the St. Louis Cardinals in three front-line starting pitchers. That group includes Philadelphia’s Cole Hamels.
One of my hobbies is being a car guy and during baseball’s off-season, I watch a number of related shows on television. One of them is “Overhaulin’,” a vehicle customizing show that airs on the Velocity Network.
Overhaulin’ host Chris Jacobs (not to be confused with the Dodgers’ farmhand of the same name) is clearly Hamels’ double. Take a look and see if you can tell who is who.
