Jay Jaffe of Sports Illustrated has said what I wanted to say, but much better than me.

Wong was hitting .225. With such results, who wants to see more sample size?
Wong can go down and collect a few hundred at bats. We know where to find the young millionaire, anytime we want to bring him back.
After back to back 1 run games versus the Pirates, Mo must have been steamed and planned the roster moves before Jhonny’s marevelous thumpings of the Pirates on Sunday.

Ugh, questionable use of closer Rosenthal again, 2 innings, 31 pitches in a non save situation. The Brewers showed better tactical skill by their manager is keeping their closer back until the 12th inning and preserving him for a real closing opportunity. I could tolerate using Rosenthal for one inning, the top of the 9th, but then a manager, in this case Matheny, has to let go of his security blanket and turn to another pitcher. Now the closer is not available for Tuesday’s game after we drop a big game at home to the red hot Brewers who are playing well on the road like few teams ever do.
