The Roster Matrix right here and the St. Louis Cardinals 2014 roster on the main site, The Cardinal Nation, are fully up to date. The former indicates all players invited to Major League spring training camp, 40-man roster players and non-roster invitees, but their uniform numbers are not designated. The main site roster does include uniform numbers, but players are listed based on their official year-ending 2013 teams until they have a firm assignment to open 2014.
In other words, big-league spring training uniform numbers are not included in either place. However, do not despair, as I have all the details here.
With at least 18 Cardinals spring games to be televised, the most ever, starting with the very first contest, you need to know who is who. After all, no one wants to get caught short – having to call a top prospect “Minor League Guy.”

Late addition (3/16) Scott McGregor was issued Almarante’s never-used #64.
