Help the United Way and win NLDS Game 2 tickets

Those of you in the St. Louis area can donate to the United Way while entering a contest to win one of two pairs of prime seats to Friday afternoon’s National League Division Series Game 2 at Busch Stadium.

    It goes down in the box score as a 9 to 1 spanking. its elimination time and the Pirates need to be put down.
    Nonetheless, the home plate ump had a narrow strike zone. Burnett did not get borderline calls. I liked the way he fired it down central in the second and Descalso overeagerly swung at the first pitch and hit into a double play.
    In the third, you can’t walk the opposing pitcher in a playoff game. Burnett was forced to challenge Beltran who is not Descalso Then he came apart at the seams. Burnett was not helped by Morneau, who was a stiff on Freese’s grounder. The Pirates ended up looking silly. 4 walks and 3 errors.
