Cardinal Talk: KXnO FOX Sports Radio: Wacha time nearing

Weekly St. Louis Cardinals-focused chat on KXnO FOX Sports Radio 1460 in Des Moines.

Late Tuesday afternoon, I joined Ken Miller and Jim Brinson on KXnO FOX Sports Radio 1460 in Des Moines in our regular series to discuss the St. Louis Cardinals, “Cardinal Talk.” This time, we discussed the Cardinals pitching situation with injuries and the planned promotion of Michael Wacha along with the additional importance of Yadier Molina behind the plate with so many young arms.

Cardinals followers in central Iowa can again catch St. Louis Cardinals radio broadcasts on KXnO as well as my regular segment each week throughout the season, either over the air or via streaming. Or, if you miss it live, you can always catch the replay right here at The Cardinal Nation blog.

This has to be the most boring Cards team of recent decades. Just grinds out the wins, most not even close. Do they make winning boring?

This must be why I like Old Wiggy so much. He is so awful and useless, in relation to all our other players, that his utter ineptitude is lonesome and pathetically loveable.
