Cardinal Talk: KXnO FOX Sports Radio: One series down

Weekly St. Louis Cardinals-focused chat on KXnO FOX Sports Radio 1460 in Des Moines.

Early Friday evening, I joined Ken Miller (without Jim Brinson) on KXnO FOX Sports Radio 1460 in Des Moines in the second installment of our regular series to discuss the St. Louis Cardinals, “Cardinal Talk.” This time, we discussed the initial series of the season in Arizona, a look at the weekend in San Francisco as well as a glance around the National League.

Cardinals followers in central Iowa can again catch St. Louis Cardinals radio broadcasts on KXnO as well as my regular segment each week throughout the season, either over the air or via streaming. Or, if you miss it live, you can always catch the replay right here at The Cardinal Nation blog.

  1. JumboShrimp says:

Disturbing Old Wiggy is getting a start, against RHP Cain. My goodness, what a mismatch.

  2. JumboShrimp says:

    $5MM RBI.

Time to stick a fork in Cain. He’s not done well, but he is well done.

  3. JumboShrimp says:

An interesting game today. A start for Adams yielding another 3 hits.

    Two hits by Wigginton. Astounding.

For 2013, Cards have a lot of good ingredients. If lucky to avoid serious injuries (beyond Carpenter, Furcal, and maybe Motte), they could have a strong season.
