With the White House ceremony to award St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Famer Stan Musial the Presidential Medal of Freedom scheduled this coming Tuesday, February 15, the club released a number of photographs in support of the event.
To share here, I selected a few of them from Stand for Stan Day, held at Busch Stadium last October 2. All photos are provided courtesy of the St. Louis Cardinals and should not be reproduced without their permission.
Details about the White House event, including live streaming information, can be found here.

Just maybe Albert should look at those pictures and remember the moment and really think about how much Stan is loved by everybody and how Albert could be in Stans position down the road.A STlouis icon still 48 years after he last played.Something to think about Albert. Are you listening?
That just happens to be the subject of tomorrow’s post!
Couldn’t agree more Bw52. Said the same thing on the day of the event.
