Berkman: “As a veteran, you have to take a leadership role… I like to have fun.” Brings positive energy into the clubhouse.

I hope Lance is prepared for what he is walking in to.

Berkman at least shaved……..has a trim……….Lohse with a little styling mousse……….. Freese has a problem……he wears it……….we need help. Why be scruffy………for money……… and that is the difference here…..the kids are still dreaming of their first “extravagance”…………. the money boys have a clue.

  3. WestCoastbirdWatcher says:

La Russa also suggested that infielder Tyler Greene could see time in center field as the Cardinals hunt for a righthanded option. La Russa also hinted at the possibility of (finding) a righthanded-hitting outfielder with center experience in the next month.”

This is a direct dig a BD/Mo…..in their on going dialog……..also a little something for Colby to think about…………Tony’s watching your show RC………………….

    • RCWarrior says:

ha ha. Colby will have to deal with that mess until he is traded. Take what you hear in public and multiply it by 50 and thats what Colby gets to hear all the time.

I just watched the AP interview………………….. I could go off on that…………but I already have if I recollect.

Next weekend a truy momentous sporting event will take place when the Packers and Bears meet in the playoffs for the first time in 70 years. The Packers and the Bears are football, and they will play at Soldier Field in the brutal cold and, most likely, snow. It will be real football fans watching real footbal. No spritzer sipping softies watching coifed slicky boys prancing around a carpet. I’ll be heading up to Chicago Thursday, I’ve got friends to stay with. I doubt I’ll get a ticket, but I’ll try like hell. But I’ll be there either way, at the least I’ll be able to hear the crowd.

    • RCWarrior says:

Green Bay looks real good at present but I’ll be pulling for a Chicago victory.

      • WestCoastbirdWatcher says:

RC….watch the Pujols interview………watch closely Lozano’s man………. he is most tense, when attempting to predict the evolution/context of Albert’s remarks…..not blocking questions…….. literally on his toes…..
They are struggling with Pujols………… Tony carries the numbers………. he is probably being tempted by a 6/30 with option……… should AP have started to loose his composure, interview would have ended in a hurry.

    • WestCoastbirdWatcher says:

Are you saying the a pretty boy (Brady) might have ended his season with a far away look in his eye BB? Not committed maybe……………

Should be a good game………weather likely helps decided it. ………good weather favoring GB.

      • blingboy says:

If its crying time in Chicago I wouldn’t know or care, WC. I don’t care who wins, haven’t even thought about it. Its not about that. I’m hoping for a blizzard.
