The Cardinal Nation subscribers should check out my log entry on the main site where I recapped comments from each of the above. I will do the same for Sunday and Monday as well. Full audio interviews will be posted in the upcoming days.

Berkman: “As a veteran, you have to take a leadership role… I like to have fun.” Brings positive energy into the clubhouse.
I hope Lance is prepared for what he is walking in to.
Especially after meeting him, I sense Berkman will be a good addition to the clubhouse. He seems far more outgoing and easygoing than Holliday, for example, the last major addition to the roster, while offering the experience and credibility that a younger outgoing player like Ryan lacked.
But can he get along with Albert? That is the question.
You don’t get along with Albert, you learn that everybody has to learn to get along without Albert.
We shall see. Albert said they exchanged phone numbers last night at the ARF benefit, but it was loud so they could not talk much.
Berkman at least shaved……..has a trim……….Lohse with a little styling mousse……….. Freese has a problem……he wears it……….we need help. Why be scruffy………for money……… and that is the difference here…..the kids are still dreaming of their first “extravagance”…………. the money boys have a clue.
Colby could use an adult haircut. Looks like he sits in the firetruck chair and gets a lollipop when he’s done.
bb — I understand that ‘the fruit’ never falls too far from ‘the tree’…
You both do know how shallow and superficial it is to judge a person by the cut of his hair?
Oquendo’s hat is awful, Mozeliak’s scarf too. What should we make of that?
Did they remember to bathe, wash their clothes, and brush their teeth? If so, I’ll remind you it is the off season. They really aren’t required to meet “the” standard while they’re in the off season. Maybe it’s just a bad hair day or maybe it’s the way they like they hair.
This ain’t the Yankee’s huh MM…………………………. you said a bunch…………its smart for Freese to look like he’s hung over?…………. he has problems, and it isn’t about style……its accountability….
I just don’t see that picture that way. Freese doesn’t look hungover to me. I think they all look like they could use some time with Clinton and Stacy from “What Not to Wear,” because none of them look particularly stylish, nor do they look like they were trying to be stylish.
I’m sorry, but it is superficial to concern yourself too much over a haircut or hairstyle, and make assumptions because of it.
Lordy, look at LaRussa’s hair! Now there’s a haircut that’s been out of style for over 30 years. That hair makes him look awful, just like Oquendo’s hat, and Mozeliak’s scarf. So?
Albert was looking sharp.

II did notice that David didn’t look well. Maybe he was sick.
That scarf just screamed “brokeback mountain” to me.
Or Broke After Signing Albert!!
haha . Colby’s girlfriend is a hair stylist…..and thats what you get. That stuff is so curly you just never see him with it even combed. He really gets up every day and does his thing and never even combs his hair. dudes a mess.
One of my boys has hair like that. There’s just not much he can do with it. He mostly wears a hat to deal with the mess. Sometimes he shaves his head, but it makes him look like a mass murderer so he grows it back. He tries with mousse and gel, but it just doesn’t work. His hair has a mind of it’s own and decides what it wants to do.
Maybe 2 days a month his hair looks good. If he’s lucky.
I sense the potential for both generational gap issues as well as a reflection of the fact that I left my good camera at home.
I sense that we don’t have much else to talk about.
La Russa also suggested that infielder Tyler Greene could see time in center field as the Cardinals hunt for a righthanded option. La Russa also hinted at the possibility of (finding) a righthanded-hitting outfielder with center experience in the next month.”
This is a direct dig a BD/Mo…..in their on going dialog……..also a little something for Colby to think about…………Tony’s watching your show RC………………….
ha ha. Colby will have to deal with that mess until he is traded. Take what you hear in public and multiply it by 50 and thats what Colby gets to hear all the time.
I just watched the AP interview………………….. I could go off on that…………but I already have if I recollect.
Next weekend a truy momentous sporting event will take place when the Packers and Bears meet in the playoffs for the first time in 70 years. The Packers and the Bears are football, and they will play at Soldier Field in the brutal cold and, most likely, snow. It will be real football fans watching real footbal. No spritzer sipping softies watching coifed slicky boys prancing around a carpet. I’ll be heading up to Chicago Thursday, I’ve got friends to stay with. I doubt I’ll get a ticket, but I’ll try like hell. But I’ll be there either way, at the least I’ll be able to hear the crowd.
Green Bay looks real good at present but I’ll be pulling for a Chicago victory.
RC….watch the Pujols interview………watch closely Lozano’s man………. he is most tense, when attempting to predict the evolution/context of Albert’s remarks…..not blocking questions…….. literally on his toes…..
They are struggling with Pujols………… Tony carries the numbers………. he is probably being tempted by a 6/30 with option……… should AP have started to loose his composure, interview would have ended in a hurry.
Are you saying the a pretty boy (Brady) might have ended his season with a far away look in his eye BB? Not committed maybe……………
Should be a good game………weather likely helps decided it. ………good weather favoring GB.
If its crying time in Chicago I wouldn’t know or care, WC. I don’t care who wins, haven’t even thought about it. Its not about that. I’m hoping for a blizzard.
That is a classic Bears team BB………… right at you……… the GB quarterback is a local boy. Has done well for himself……………..
