Links to four St. Louis Cardinals major and minor league schedules already released for 2011.
The St. Louis Cardinals’ 2011 regular season schedule was announced in mid-September, earlier than I can recall in any past year.
Continuing in the spirit of early releases, I posted the tentative Cardinals 2011 spring training schedule yesterday.
In terms of the minor leagues, the top two Cardinals affiliates have disclosed their regular season dates for next season.
The Triple-A Memphis Redbirds have unveiled their 2011 Pacific Coast League schedule.
The 2010 Texas League schedule for the Double-A Springfield Cardinals has also been released.
When others become available, I will point them out.

Since there’s not much to talk about, I’ll mention that the aerial photo of the Roger Dean Complex on the main site doesn’t show the whole complex. There are (or where a couple years ago) 12 full size fields in addition to the stadium field. There where also a couple of infields.
You are correct. I included the main stadium at the lower left and the Cards’ six fields. Only three on the Marlins’ side are shown.
I wonder how long that complex can stay there? The real estate bubble bursting might have bought the complex a couple of more years but the value of that land there is tremendous.
Another factor is the departure of other MLB teams in the area in recent years leaving the Cards, Marlins and Mets the only teams within a two-hour radius. It is so bad the Mets moved their instructional league camp to Ft. Myers just so their kids would have someone else to play against this fall.
If I remember correctly, the Cards lease still has another seven years to run.
I take it the Marlins don’t have instructional league either.
The Marlins had a mini camp only. If you are a subscriber, bb, you can read what I wrote in detail about instructs. The Cards are one of a very few organizations not doing it.

If WC was around, I am sure he would have a theory about the Cardinals’ real estate investments in Jupiter………………..
