Trivia Question #7
What was the most significant injury ever suffered by a Cardinal in an All-Star Game, to whom and what year did it occur?
Dizzy Dean – 1937
It caused him to alter his pitching motion
Unfortunately this is not a positive question, but louman’s answer is correct. Dean injured his toe in the game and trying to pitch through it, he later damaged his shoulder trying to compensate. He was never the same.
Congrats, louman. Please drop me an email to discuss logistics.
