Thursday live blogging with FOX Sports Midwest

Join me, Brian Walton, and Pat Parris from New York’s Citi Field along with other panelists during Thursday afternoon’s live blog on FOX Sports Midwest’s website. Alternatively, once the event begins at noon Central, you can enter your comments right here in the “CoveritLive” area below.

In a match-up of aces and former Cy Young Award winners, Chris Carpenter and the St. Louis Cardinals take on Johan Santana and the New York Mets in the series-ending contest. Thursday’s first pitch is scheduled for 12:10 p.m. Central.

Looks like a pretty active chat session.

  2. Brian says:

Yes, it was a lot of fun. Would have preferred a different game outcome, but the Cards stranded too many runners early.

Disappointing to lose three of four to a Mets team without Sheffield, Beltran, Delgado and Reyes. The Cardinals offense is really struggling.

  3. Nutlaw says:

Yeah, having caught most of those games myself, it was rather depressing.
