Pujols approaching Cards consecutive home run mark

When Albert Pujols hit home runs in consecutive plate appearances on Saturday, it was his 27th such performance in his eight-plus seasons.

That is just one short of the St. Louis Cardinals record since 1954, held by Mark McGwire at 28.
