DD, it was an interesting game today. Both home runs were good to see. Ankiel really got around on his down the line. T Greene had good moments and bad defensively. Rasmus and Mather each just missed great catches. Thompson wasn't as bad as the line score as the shortstop was late to take the throw at second on what should have been a double play, but he suffered the indignity of being taken out mid-inning. But signing Kip Wells? That one depends on whether they want to use him as a starter or as a releiver. If it's as a starter, then yes, they are as crazy as the Cardinals were for expecting much. But if it's as a reliever where he has a respectable 6-3 record with a 3.43 ERA, 1.2857 baserunners per inning, 7.6 K/9 and just 4 homers allowed in 84 career innings, then they might be crazy like a fox.
